Need help? Just ask! Contact a Reference Librarian for assistance with all your citation needs. You can stop at the User Services Desk to meet with the librarian on duty between 8am-9pm Monday - Thursday and 8am-5pm Fridays. You can also submit your question through our chat or by emailing asklib@washjeff.edu

If you need assistance when a reference library is not on duty, you still have options.

  • We have online access to the style guides for MLA and Chicago styles.
  • We have print style manuals behind the User Services desk covering MLA, APA, Chicago/Turabian, and CSE styles that can be used in the library.
  • You can also try using a reputable online source like the Purdue OWL website.

We do NOT recommend using citation generators because they are only as good as the information that is put into them. Often times, they have incorrect capitalization and punctuation. So double check with a librarian or credible site before you submit your paper. For more information, visit our Citation Help page.
