When a Professor tells you that they have put something in the library for you to use for their class, they usually mean that have put an item on Course Reserve. That means that the use of the item is restricted only to students in that class. These items are kept behind the User Services Desk, sorted by your professor's last name and then by the course department & number.
Many reserve items are restricted for 3-hour, in-library use only. This is so they can be made available to all students equally. If you plan to use an item on reserve, make sure you have enough time to review it when you come in.
Anytime you have a question about course materials in the library, just stop at the User Services desk when you enter the building and our staff will help you find what you need.
