There are instructions for connecting your device to AirMedia on the screens in each of the study rooms and if you follow these instructions you should be able to share your screen from laptops, tables, or phones.

Here are two common issues that can prevent you from being able to connect.

Are you connected to the W&J Secure wi-fi network?

  • You must be logged in to secure wi-fi in order to use the Air Media Software. If you have a problem connecting to the wireless network on campus, we encourage you to open a ticket with the ITS department: https://washjeff.happyfox.com/home/

Is your computer/mobile device updated to the most recent operating system?

  • If you are using an outdated operating system your computer will not be able to download the most current version of the AirMedia software. Older versions of the AirMedia software will not be able to connect to our hardware.

If you are still having trouble connecting, please come to the User Services desk for assistance. Library staff are happy to try and help you solve your connection issue so we ask you not to press buttons on the monitor or connect/disconnect wires.
