Things to know about using ebooks:
- There are a variety of options for downloading, printing, and emailing from Library licensed ebooks. Some books allow for full downloading, some for downloading, printing, and emailing only portions, and a small number do not allow any downloading, printing, or emailing. This information is determined by the book publisher and is available on the home page of each ebook.
- The free Adobe Digital Editions software (https://www.adobe.com/solutions/ebook/digital-editions/download.html) must be installed on your computer in order to download full ebooks and read them.
- All books may be read online in a browser. Close the book and window when you are finished reading to make the book accessible to others.
- There are some books that only allow one person at a time to read them. In this case you may get a turnaway message when you are trying to access the book and another is currently reading it. Close your window and try the book later.
- If you reach the download or printing page limit for a particular book, you can open a new browser window and print or download additional pages if needed. Remember that there are a small number of books that do not allow any downloading or printing.
